Proprioceptive training

Proprioception is our ability to perceive our body position in space and the concurrent stare of muscular contraction, without the help of the sight.

It’s a fundamental ability to control our body during movement and static standing and works through specific structures and receptors that are consistently linked with our Central Nervous System.

Since proprioception plays an essential role in the comolex mechanism of controlling our body during movement, it’s usually integrated and stimuated via multiple activities and exercises during physical therapy.
