Janet, born 1963 in Cardiff, Wales. Grew up & finished her schooling in Leeds, UK. She returned to Cardiff to study physiotherapy, and there continued to work for 4 years in the University Hospital of Wales.

Towards the end of 1990 she moved to Switzerland, working at l'Etablissement Thermal de Lavey-les-Bains, VD; later she moved to Ticino, and since 2004 has worked at Fisiosport Minusio.

She has cultivated a special interest in:

• orthopaedics, specifically problems related to the spinal column
• geriatrics
• more recently lymphdrainage
